Dell has just announce plan to release their new laptop ‘Latitude E6320′ packed with features, that makes something different. It starts with a powerful Intel’s 2.3GHz processor, know as Core i5 2410M CPU. Not too big and not too small, the up coming laptop has 13.3-inch (1366×768) anti-glare display, up to 4GB of installed DDR3 SDRAM, and 500GB SATA hard drive. There are plenty of other interesting things about the Latitude E6320 besides its processor though. Dell has revamped the case design and claims it meets the US Department of Defense MIL-STD-810G standard for ruggedness. The surprisingly rigid lid is made out of aluminium, while a protective magnesium alloy strip wraps around the edge of the laptop. The keyboard is apparently designed to be spill-proof too.For connectivity, Latitude E6320 is versed with 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet, WiMAX Options, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.o, 5-in-1 label reader, USB 2.0, VGA port, HDMI, USB/eSATA combo, SmartCard Reader/Fingerprint Reader, Microphone combo jack, Mobile Broadband as well as GPS Options. Dimensions of Dell Latitude E6320 laptop are 335mm x 223.3mm x 25.40mm-30.1mm as well as has 3 cell/6 cell/9 dungeon Lithium Ion Dell LATITUDE E6320 battery
. Unfortunately, the device doesn’t have the DisplayPort connector for attaching outmost monitors. The Dell Latitude E6320 is approaching will be release during this Spring with starting price at $859. Although the E6320 does come off as a bit pricey for its specs, the external casing and design potentially make up for the price tag. The E6320 notebook is built from a MIL-STD 810G (Military Standard) Tri-Metal case with reinforced metal hinges. If that wasn’t enough to tempt you to take this laptop into battle, Dell has also outfitted the E6320 with an anodized Aluminum display back, a spill resistant keyboard, and a 360˚ bumper that protects from bumps and bruises. The remodeled design of the new Latitude reinforces a magnesium alloy chassis with a ring of alloy running around the circumference of each laptop adding further strength. Dell is clearly taking on Panasonic’s Toughbooks and the ThinkPads with spill-proof keyboards and MIL-STD-810G accreditation across the range. Connectivity is the final hurdle. The two USB ports on our sample were only USB 2 compliant – with one doubling as an eSATA port. Given the range of docking options that are backwards compatible with previous Latitude generations, the provision of just two USB ports isn’t a deal-breaker. DisplayPort is a more notable casualty – Dell claims businesses prefer HDMI and D-SUB – but otherwise, the breadth of connectivity is ample. ExpressCard/34 and an SD card reader are accompanied by optional extras including standard or contactless SmartCard readers and a fingerprint reader. Dell's new Latitude laptops are among the first we've seen to come equipped with Intel's new Sandy Bridge processors. The Dell Latitude E6320 AC adapter
pre-production unit we saw came fitted with a 2.3GHz Core i5 2410M processor and 2GB of RAM. All other specifications being equal, it should be faster and consume less battery power than a laptop with the comparable previous generation 2.27GHz Core i5 430M processor. The Intel vPro set of administration technologies is also supported. Doing business today means working anytime, anywhere. You need a laptop to keep up with your work style. Latitude E-Family laptops combine world-class design with durability to perform, wherever business takes you. This is a common display format for subnotebooks. Netbooks, UMPC and some subnotebooks have tinier displays. Nevertheless, the majority of standard laptops has a higher format. The advantage of a small display is, that the subnotebook can be small dimensioned and can be carried easily. Further the small display needs few energy, which improves the Dell Latitude E6320 battery
runtime and in consequence the mobility. The disadvantage is that the reading of texts is a bit exhausting for the eyes, especially with high resolutions. Remove all the screws and you’ll find one of the latest Intel Sandy Bridge processors. The basic model starts with the i3 but you can go all the way to the i7-2620M. The processors are backed up by a lot of DDR3 RAM – up to 8GB. There are plenty of storage options: you can use the 250GB or 500GB HDDs or you can go for the much faster 256GB SSD. Latitude E6320 isn’t meant for heavy multimedia use, so the guys at Dell have chosen the Intel HD 3000 Graphics chip. Other feature of the Latitude E6320 includes 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000, Bluetooth 3.o, WiMAX Options, 5-in-1 of card reader, USB 2.0, VGA port, HDMI output port, USB/eSATA combo, Microphone combo jack, Smartcard Reader/Fingerprint Reader, Mobile Broadband, GPS Options, power 65w 3.34a Dell Latitude E6320 charger
for high Quality Speakers and a 3 cell/6 cell/9 cell Lithium Ion battery. Dimensions of Dell Latitude E6320 laptop are 335mm x 223.3mm x 25.40mm-30.1mm. The machine is handle hard-core environments built and reinforced metal hinges, an LCD seal and spill-resistant keyboard, vibration, dust have not a problem and a cover from anodized aluminum. Unfortunately, the appliance is not a display port connector for connecting external monitors. It’s the transformation in build quality that truly stuns. Previous Latitudes never felt insubstantial, but they wilt next to the new generation. Dell’s redesign has seen the new Latitude emerge with a reinforced magnesium alloy chassis, strengthened further by a ring of alloy running around the circumference of each laptop. With spill-proof keyboards and MIL-STD-810G accreditation across the range, Dell is taking on not only the ThinkPads, but also Panasonic’s Toughbooks at their own game. Looking at, for example, the top of the range represented by the model Dell Latitude E6520 15.6-inch, we find that Dell allows you to choose between different versions of the Windows 7 operating system from Microsoft, but also, possibly, the Linux distribution Ubuntu 10.10.
